Im sorry but in my view i belevie that all of this news media is wrong. Im gay, but i don't expect to get special treatment no matter how bad ive been treated. I beleive that instead of acting out and requesting all of this stuff, i belive we should let our actions and deeds speak for them selfs and some of you may say that is what you are trying to do, but in my point of veiw all you are doing is just getting in the spotlight for the attension. If you agree please tell me and if you don't i want to know why!!!
Gay marriage is not "special treatment." "Special treatment" is something only one segment of the population has. In this case, since only straight people have marriage rights, then it is straight people that have "special treatment." In light of "equality before the law," that is un-American and unconstitutional. As for getting in the spotlight, that's how things get done. Sitting home and just taking it when someone relegates you to second-class citizenship doesn't ever change things for the better.
Im sorry, i diddn't mean to hurt any feelings. I know i should have just kept my mouth shut. Im sorry. I was just stating that i just don't think we should be so abbrasive i guess.
oh and i loved your book, it cuased me to revaluate my current sittuation. I joined scouts agian and im doing more for myself, instead of being worried about what other people will think. and I truly am sorry if i hurt any ones feelings or anything
Aerostotle - no hard feelings at all. I appreciate your thoughts. I hope I didn't come across as angry to you - angry maybe, but not towards you. I was just trying to explain the source of that anger for many people. I'm glad you enjoyed my book, and always feel free to post your thoughts here. Good luck to you in Scouting.
grazie, I hope i will be able to get egal soon!!!
